Hello Bright Academy!

My name is Bre Alston, and I am so excited to be your child's 5th grade teacher this year! While this is my first year of teaching 5th, I am entering my sixth year of teaching in Texas. 

I believe in building a positive classroom community where every child feels valued, heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to spark curiosity, creativity, confidence, and create lifelong learners. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with my husband and two year old daughter. 

I'm looking forward to the year ahead!
