Carolyn Vaughan

Welcome to 5th grade! We are going to have a great year!

Hello! I am so excited that you are here! My name is Carolyn Vaughan and I currently teach Writing, Reading, and Social Studies here at Borchardt Elementary. I am originally from Lewisville, Texas and recently graduated from The University of Oklahoma with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education!

When I am not at school I normally spend my time out to dinner with friends, reading a new book, or enjoying a big cup of coffee somewhere cozy! My perfect day would be doing all of these things on the beach, of course.  

Teaching truly is my passion and my favorite thing to do! I love getting to pour into your kiddos everyday and watching them flourish and grow though out the school year. Getting to know your kids as well as they get to know me is one of the simple pleasures in the job and just fills my heart so much.
