Hi families! My name is Ashley Ries, and I’m so excited to be your child’s 5th-grade teacher this year! I believe that learning should be fun, meaningful, and engaging—and I can’t wait to make this school year one to remember.

This is my first year teaching, and I recently graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I’m originally from Plano, Texas, and I’m passionate about building a positive, supportive classroom where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends, trying out new hobbies, and exploring the outdoors.
