Mrs. Anessa Perry, School Counselor

Hello and welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

I am Anessa Perry, the School Counselor at WFS! I work at WFS full time and I am ready to assist you!

In addition to being the School Counselor, I am also the:

The DCPP Liaison,

The 504 Team Leader,

The School Test Coordinator.

A Little About Me

Mr. Perry and I live in Howell with our fur babies, Muffin, Molly and Moe. All three dogs are rescues. Muffin is an 11 year old Chihuahua mix and Molly is an 8 year old Maltese Mix. We just adopted Moe this past summer. He is about 9 years old. Moe is a Yorkie.

Mr. Perry and I have been married for 27 years !!!

Before I became a school counselor, I was a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I earned my Bachelors degree from Kean College in 1990. I worked in Bergen County, prior to getting married in 1996. While living in Freehold, I worked in Neptune at the middle school, teaching grades 6, 7 and 8. I earned my Masters Degree from Georgian Court College in 2001, in Pupil Personnel Services. I have school counseling experience in both middle and elementary school. The 2023- 2024 school year will be my 33rd year as an educator!

Mr. Perry and I are very close to our parents and we try to see them as much as possible. Mr. Perry and I enjoy going to Cape May, Wildwood and Rehoboth Beach, DE whenever we can. We also enjoy our pool and spending as much time outside as we can with the doggies!

This is Muffin. Muffin is a 11 year old Chihuahua Mix. Muffin is a rescue. She needed extensive medical attention when we adopted her, but she is fine now. Muffin loves sun bathing, chasing bugs that fly and barking at every squirrel in Howell Township.

This is Molly. Molly is an 8 year old Maltese. Molly is a rescue. Molly loves snuggling, playing outside and trying to trick us into giving her extra treats. Molly was a great co-worker while I was working remotely from home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is Moe. We rescued Moe this past summer in July. Moe has one working eye. He also does not have a tail. Moe is a sweetheart. He loves all people, dogs and even cats! Moe came from a shelter in Mississippi. We are so happy to have Moe as a part of our family!
