7th grade STEM INC. focuses on creating the next generation of innovators and changemakers. Students will be participating in a self-directed program to help them develop an entrepreneurship mindset that they can use for a lifetime. This mindset involves identifying needs, brainstorming creative solutions, taking calculated risks, learning from failure, being resourceful and confident, working well with others, and persevering despite setbacks. Students will be able to use state of the art technology like a laser engraver machine and 3D printer to bring their ideas to life!

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. 7th Grade STEM teach and support the ongoing development of creativity by encouraging students to apply 21st Century Skills such as collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Young adolescents have the strongest affinity for divergent thinking.
