4th Six Weeks

The Fourth Six Weeks is all about Expanding: Manifest Destiny! The phrase comes from John O'Sullivan and expresses the attitude of Americans during the 19th Century and their wish for America to stretch from coast to coast. This Six Weeks we will discover the ways in which our Country has expanded to what our Continental United States is today, and the different experiences that are involved in that. Along with Manifest Destiny, we will also be looking at the Industrial Revolution and the Reform Movements that are simultaneously happening in America during the 19th Century.
