LEARN MORE ABOUT MY CLASSES:

I’m thrilled to begin another great year at Fatima High School.  Communication between teachers, parents, and students is proven to increase student achievement.  I hope this website will provide you with helpful information throughout the school year to keep those lines of communication open, and ensure that you feel informed and prepared.

I've enjoyed teaching at Fatima High School for 27 years!  During my time at Fatima, I've taught several different classes in the business department, and I've enjoyed teaching and learning from the students. Today, I am teaching Computer Applications I, a sophomore-level course that introduces students to the basic features of the Microsoft and Google applications.  In addition to Computer Applications I, I teach two dual credit courses--Computer Applications II and Business Management. Computer Applications II is a continuation of what is taught in Computer Application I, including more advanced features.  Business Management is a powerful course that encompasses many aspects of today's business world, including economics, management styles, human resource management, marketing, and financial management.

I truly enjoy my time in the classroom with Fatima students.  I am grateful for the opportunity to work in such a strong community.

I am pleased to offer dual credit opportunities to many of the students at Fatima High School.  Dual credit enrollment offers students an opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.  Although this is an outstanding opportunity, the part of dual credit that I find most beneficial to my students is the opportunity to have a guided experience to learn how to be a college student.  These courses serve as a step between high school and college, offering students an opportunity to learn about practices and procedures they will encounter in college, while still having the comfort and support of a high school teacher.

I am proud of the diverse opportunities these courses provide students to learn about various methods of instruction and assessment that they may encounter in higher education.

Just a little about me...

My husband, Perry, and I are blessed with two daughters--Reese and Ava.  As a family, we enjoy traveling, visiting friends and family, and attending the girls' sporting events and activities.

Perry and I both grew up in the Central Missouri area, and we are pleased to raise our family in the Westphalia community.
