Gary Mailloux grew up in West Fargo, ND and holds a BA from Jamestown College and a MS from MSUM. He has continued to take additional classes at NDSU and MSUM. Gary has worked his entire career as an educator (teacher, administrator, coach). He has been coaching XC for 50 years (48@ FN) and has coached Track for 56 years (54 @ FN). He has also coached wrestling and football at FN. Coach Mailloux enjoys time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren, working with young people in sports, and following their progress on their journey through school and beyond.
Coach Walker began his coaching journey in the spring of 2004 as an assistant track and field coach at Fargo North and took over the Fargo North girls head cross country job in the fall of 2005. Over the years, he has coached in various roles, including serving as the head girls track and field coach for 8 years. Coach Walker is a proud Spartan!
He is married to his wonderful wife, Eva, and they have a son named Ozzie. As a family, they enjoy traveling to warmer destinations.
He believes that to develop a strong character in life, one must learn to overcome difficulties and hardships. By choosing to run cross country, athletes are opting for artificial hardship and difficulties, which ultimately lead to building strong character in sport and life.
Keith Lehman is a 2013 graduate from Fargo North High, where he was involved with both the cross country and track & field programs. He graduated in 2017 from NDSU with a B.S. in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, and he graduated with his master's degree from Minot State in 2020. He is one of the math teachers at FNH, teaching a wide range of courses from Pre-Algebra up to AP Statistics. This will be his 9th year coaching Cross Country and he has coached Track & Field for 10 years as well. In his free time, Keith likes to run, ride bike, write, read, and brainstorm ideas for the classroom.
Mark Landman is a North High Alumni (Class of 2005) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He works as a software engineer for John Deere and this will be his 15th year coaching Cross Country. Mark has also coached Track for 14 years. His interests are: faith, family (especially his wife Kayla!), running, camping, reading, miscellaneous tinkering, and gardening.
