Tryouts 2025 - 2026

Tryouts for the Fargo North Dance Team are open to any girls and boys that are current 6th-11th graders. Tryouts for the 2025-2026 season will be May 19, 20, 22 and 23 at Fargo North High School from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. 

We will be hosting various prep clinics for all dancers interested in trying out for the Spartacas Dance Team, these clinics are not required to tryout for the team, they are an additional opportunity to learn the skills in advanced while working with the coaches to make tryouts go smoothly. These will be held on:

April 24th from 4:15 - 6:00 pm @ Ben Franklin Middle School - Cafeteria

May 14th from 4:15- 6:00 pm @ Ben Franklin Middle School - Cafeteria

April 15th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm @ North High School - Main Gym

May 6th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm @ North High School - Main Gym

Informational Dancer/Parent Meeting @ North High in Room 102: May 5th at 6:00 pm!

Informational Dancer/Parent Meeting @ Ben Franklin Middle School cafeteria: May 12th at 6:00 pm!

What to expect at tryouts. Tryouts will be held at Fargo North High School. You will be expected to learn a variety of skills (listed in the tryout skills button) along with a short routine mix of Jazz and Pom. Dancers will be divided into small groups to execute their skills and routine for the coaches.  The final team roster will posted after tryouts are finished. Us coaches are looking for positive individuals who are eager to learn and are willing to push themselves as dancers. We understand tryouts can be stressful but always strive to create a comfortable/fun learning environment for all dancers.  We hope to see you at tryouts! -FNDT Coaches
