    • EMG Coordinators sometimes have to dismiss a volunteer from their program. This letter provides one template for doing so. When dismissing a volunteer, please check with the Extension Administration at your University to ensure that you have their support and that they understand the situation. It may also be useful to let your University's legal department preview the letter before sending. Many Universities have their own template, or else require that EMG coordinators not list any details surrounding the dismissal.
