    • This resource presents basic information on hosting a class. It is a great resource for new EMG coordinators, or those wanting a review. It is not based on peer-reviewed research, but is instead based on acknowledged best practices.

    • This resource goes over the importance of planning and selecting EMG projects with a purpose in mind (e.g. increasing knowledge, changing attitudes or behaviors, or having community-level impacts). It also goes over evaluation tools available to EMG Coordinators. Reviewers universally loved this resource.

MOVING FORWARD WITH FOUNDERS (2014)

• • Moving Forward with Founders: recorded webinar presentation, by Dr. Paula Huff, as part of the 2013 EMG Coordinators Discussions. Fast forward to 5 minutes and 30 seconds (using the scroll bar, at the bottom) to skip announcements and start directly in with Dr. Huff's presentation.

    • Reviewer felt that this resource likely relates to all EMG coordinators, whether they are at the county or state level. This webinar may be especially useful to young professionals, as they start out as EMG coordinators. An accompanying Journal of Extension paper provides the research basis for this presentation, and is a great accessory to the webinar.

    • Before a project is approved by Extension and available to Master Gardeners, it needs to be planned in accordance with EMG program guidelines. This checklist offers a preliminary review of projects being submitted for approval for volunteer service hours.

• • Project Proposal Form: this form can be used to screen requests for Master Gardener assistance on community projects. The original form was developed by the Clatsop County Master Gardeners in cooperation with their local Oregon State University Extension Master Gardener Program.
