Inference lesson

Because I love making costumes, I volunteered to help make costumes for the Spring musical, Peter Pan. I have always enjoyed working with costumes. Sometimes they need sewn from scratch and other times I can use an existing piece of old clothing and alter it to make it just the right piece needed for a costume. Sometimes the alterations are quick changes like cutting off the sleeves or adding buttons. Other times, the changes take a little more attention, like adding a hood, removing a zipper, or even changing the color completely.

This weekend, I found the perfect sets of pajamas for the Darling children at a thrift store. I found a long sleep shirt for John, a plaid pajama pants set for Michael and a long white nightgown for Wendy. All of the piece will be perfect after a little work altering them.

What does the man think happened to the cat? Use your inference skills.
