About me:

Hi, nice to meet you! I am the student teacher for Ms. Chiao this year. I can't wait to learn with everyone!

I am a local, I live in East San Jose, within the IHS boundaries. I love visiting all the food places around here pre-COVID, from the Los Tres Reyes tacos by my house to Little Saigon. I also enjoy spending time outdoors such as camping and hiking.

My educational history:

I grew up in this area, we might have went to the same schools and had the same teachers! I went to Painter for elementary and Sierramont for 6th grade. Then I moved to Cupertino Middle and finished high school at Homestead High.

After high school, I begin college at UC Santa Cruz. I just graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. I am currently earning my Master of Arts degree in Education along with my teaching credentials.

My teaching history:

During my undergrad, I was a Supplemental Instructor for 14 courses. Some of these courses includes chemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, and molecular biology. I interned at Pajaro Valley High in Watsonville, and interned at the summer credit recovery program for Santa Cruz City Schools.
