ClearSea is one of several applications that can be used for desktop and mobile device video conferencing as well as H.323, SIP, or bridge systems.
A teacher could use ClearSea or other desktop conferencing applications:
as a beginning of the year meeting with individual students at a remote site.
to video conference with a student who has questions regarding course content.
to conference about a student with remote site administration or for parent teacher conference.
to set up and have a connection for a virtual field trip.

Setup application for placing a call
open application
select "registered user" tab
enter your login name as provided to you by your ESU
enter your password as provided to you by your ESU
above the "Sign In" button enter the clearsea server site info provided by your ESU i.e. clearsea.esu10.org
click on "Sign In" button
Wait for your invited guest to call and then answer
A student, parent, virtual field trip site, or someone else who would use the ClearSea for educational purposes would be able to use the application as a guest. The following video shares how a guest would set up their account and place a call.

Setup application for placing a call
open application
select "guest user" tab
enter your name in place of "Guest"
enter in dial string as provided to you i.e. - clearsea.esu10.org/teachername
click on "call" button
Wait for party to answer
