Laboratory guidelines
Laboratory workshop, Barcelona, 9th March 2016
Presentation
Dr. Carmen Muñoz Almagro (Laboratory focal point) has developed in collaboration with Benoit Garin and Sophie Guillot from Institut Pasteur, laboratory recommendations for PERTINENT partners. The recommendations are based on the ECDC, CDC and WHO guidelines and on a laboratory survey conducted among PERTINENT partners (see Annex on laboratory guidelines of the generic protocol).
These recommendations were the basis of the one-day training, held in Barcelona 9th March, on pertussis laboratory diagnosis for microbiologists participating in PERTINENT.
