Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Started the analysis using ANSYS; the results were unreliable.
Recalculated the safety factor of the wheel using buckling analysis with different boundary conditions.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
ANSYS were successfully installed. Many resources were found to support the FEA.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Finish the FEA for the wheel and compare it with the hand calculation.
Meeting with professor. Ghazinejad for the calculation verification.
Get in touch with sponsor for updates of the design.
