Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Several preliminary designs are drawn in Solidworks.
Individual analysis are assigned to each team member.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Gained design ideas from the meeting with the instructor.
Started to look for low price parts for assembly the motion gantry.
Brainstormed two designs for realizing the variable force output.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Decide the type of motor used in axial motion and the type of force actuation in controlling the finger-like presser.
Decide and order pre-made or custom gantry parts for x and y-axis horizontal motion.
Improve the Solidworks drawing according to the decision made for motors and gantry parts.

Inspired us to brainstorm more ideas about the variable force actuation, gantry design, and the use of different types of motors.
Agreed to use pre-made gantry parts if the price and the risk of using are low.
