Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
The acrylic water tank has been sealed and has been used to hold water while the unit was mounted on the golf cart
A smaller diameter tube has been attached from the tank to an adapter which connects to a larger tube that can fit into the pump's barbed fitting
The Golf Cart Mister prototype has been successfully mounted and connected to the cart with all components needed for operation being contained within the unit
Accomplishments from Previous Week
The final product has been completed and demonstrated to our sponsor along with the a final presentation
The user's manual has been completed with instructions on how to assemble the prototype and recommendations for maintenance
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
The team will be present after the final poster presentation on 6/15/17 to hand the prototype over to our sponsor, Ari Petersen. (The Club Car golf cart has already been picked up by our sponsor)
Upload video of the mister system's performance onto the team website, and perform final edits before Wednesday (Oscar and Team)

The team's final presentation has given our sponsor some ideas to expand on the prototype design ( final sponsor presentation 6/6/17)
The tank could be comprised of three molds: the bottom tank the electrical component unit and a service lid
This idea reflects what was used for the prototype, but with the bottom tank being enclosed with two one-way flow valves to fill and draw water to and from the tank.
The switch boxes could also be formed from molded plastic
The change in material for the switch boxes is needed since the acrylic is not sturdy enough to handle abuse well
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
As suggested by the instructors, a smaller tube has been connected leading into the pump from the tank, which resolves the issue that was previously present in feeding the tube into the water tank opening due to the lack of room that remained while inserting the tube connected to the pump. (meeting 6/5/17)
The wires in the system could be better organized by being fastened in place by plastic wire tabs, and wire connectors would allow easy disconnections of the fans from the switch boxes if repairs are needed (6/5/17)
Velcro strips have been used to hold larger components in place, such as the capacitor and fuse, which hold most of the wires in place, but these specific recommendations have been relayed to our sponsor

Schedule
The Golf Cart Misters system is operational and can be mounted onto a number of carts by simply altering two parameters (angle and thickness of upright supports on carts) on the design of the mounting brackets before fabrication
Update Gantt chart.
