Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Continue working on wing edge detection code.
Continue researching spherical display structure. Would like to find a cheaper option.
Working on getting one of the 4 inch test hemispheres coated with screen goo for more preliminary projector testing. Made contact with Rene, who is a lab assistance in Atkins Hall. He showed us how to use the spay gun for with the screen goo.
Working to finish ordering for test bed by the end of this week
successfully tethered flies and produced a good quality video.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Complete image subtraction code.

Complete preliminary set up of test bed with ordered parts.
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
In our last meeting with the sponsor he expressed more concerns for the overall assemble of the test bed then working on the code. He told us that first we needed to get a good image/video of a tethered fly before deciding on any coding methods. To address this concern we turned our attention to the test bed and have been focusing on ordering material for it.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
In our last meeting the instructor expressed concerns about the code. He wanted us to look into other methods for for edge detection and corresponding commutation times. We will begin looking into this now that we have a good image/video of a tethered fly that we produced to work with.
