Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Tests pending completion of prototype
Final design work having kinks worked out
Fabrication near completion--will finish and assemble by Wednesday evening
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Puck assembly fabrication 90% complete; only a few flanges still to machine, then ready to assemble and Loctite in place.
Hard stops machined, ready to integrate;
Spring steel flexures machined; mounting block undergoing v2. machining; machining of blocks to hold roller bearings nearly complete;
Base plate ready for machining (this should be a big endeavor, but then all the final assembly is ready);
Poster first draft complete
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Finish poster, report, webpage, presentation slides for sponsor presentation (Steven, Sean)
Machine machine machine!
Presentation at sponsor on Thursday. If plate is in working condition, this would be good timing for setting up some cycle or heat testing.
Use results of presentation and cycle tests for last minute modifications in report.
Is a Finals Week update of report and/or webpage okay to include possible testing at the end of Week 10?

Peer review of webpage:
Front page too cluttered with words; add more pictures everywhere; annotate pictures better
Make sure videos work;
Multimedia section entirely missing; Still need to add all the up-to-date CAD files and pictures
Peer review of report draft:
Mostly commentary on avoiding using certain phrases/words
Better, annotated pictures and CAD models should (and will) infiltrate the final report
Risks and Areas of Concern
Problem with tensioner placement discovered--mounting angles of tensioners had to be changed. Not sure of effect on performance.
CNC of base plate should take a good amount of time
Resources or Information Required but not Available
