Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Pulley/counterweight assembly is nearly finished, we just need to attach the pulley rope to our base plate (tie a knot) and fill our PVC tube counterweights with dense, adjustable masses (sand, BB's, etc)
Wheels were installed to allow easy movement of the stand from lab to storage
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Reassembled CAD model for design changes. (Daniel)
Helicopter mount fabricated and installed. (Quintin and Erik)
Counterweight pulleys were mounted. (Quintin, Erik and Htin)
We did not LaserCAMM our helicopter yet because we are waiting on our motors and other components that require minor changes to our fan shrouds and helicopter body.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Install damping springs/system (Htin)
Mount encoders and load cell (Quintin and Erik)
After receiving the helicopter components, LaserCAMM helicopter side plates and shrouds (Erik and Daniel)
Wire the sensors and test them in preparation for helicopter installation (as a team).
