Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • Met with EE team and Dr. Dey to discuss parameters of the demo for WWHI

  • Pillsafe will do a series of things: vibrate, sound, send information to computer, text member in the audience

  • will have three "dummy" demos to pass around room, with blister molds of 4 day regimen inside but without electronics

  • met with Bob Greene from PowerPak in Ranch Bernardo

    • gave lots of insight into thermoforming and blister-packaging

    • doesnt do medical grade blistering but showed us what we need to successfully blister

    • provided us with information for future Pillsafe project members

  • HUGE turnover time for 3D Printer, 40+ hours.

    • still waiting on Pillsafe to be printed

Accomplishments from Previous Week

• • Currently working on syncing all electronics together

  • soldering sensors to new board

  • Writing code for demo

  • Switch testing to turn on and off LEDs (still being debugged)

    • like's where the project is going, down to the wire now so need to focus on demo

    • wants to use blister molds for the actual HIV regimen for dummy demos

    • make as true to iPhone size as possible and explain to audience that mass-manufacturing will lead to a much smaller version than the demo created

  • will there be enough time to print 3 Pillsafes and their respective blisters for next week?
