From Finals Week Comments:
Health hazards of PVC
Look into Wheatstone Bridge in blisterpack aluminum backing (hole punched > will increase resistance > is this increase enough to be measured?
blister packs with UPC codes on the back for each type of drug, use smart phone to read if pill has been taken and at what time?
photosensor might be cheaper than wire matrix
what process do you envision for the blister packs to be made and distributed to patient with varying medications?
will the system work for hard and soft pills alike?
look into kickstarter.com for help with money
sensors we have been dealing with are big. any successful search with small and simple sensor
considerations of the thing breaking by sitting on it?
is the pillsafe reusable? if so, is contamination (dirt, dust, etc) of each packet a problem
Risks and Areas of Concern
blister pack area allocation
pushing mechanism
