Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • Received confirmation from Grafix for PVC rigid plastic sample (Clear-Lay)

• • Successfully created custom mold using vacuum molding machine

  • Will determine smallest distance that pills each blister can be from one another

    • Look into Wheatstone Bridge in blisterpack aluminum backing (hole punched > will increase resistance > is this increase enough to be measured?

    • blister packs with UPC codes on the back for each type of drug, use smart phone to read if pill has been taken and at what time?

    • photosensor might be cheaper than wire matrix

    • what process do you envision for the blister packs to be made and distributed to patient with varying medications?

    • will the system work for hard and soft pills alike?

    • sensors we have been dealing with are big. any successful search with small and simple sensor

    • considerations of the thing breaking by sitting on it?

    • is the pillsafe reusable? if so, is contamination (dirt, dust, etc) of each packet a problem
