Turnitin文稿原創性比對服務提供文稿原創性比對服務,擁有超過19億篇自1996年開始收集學生在Turnitin繳交過的文章,超過470億的公開網頁資訊,超過10,000種主流報紙,雜誌及學術期刊,超過百萬筆的全文電子出版品包括電子期刊,電子書,資料庫,電子雜誌(CrossRef. 所有出版機構出版品)等,只要將學生的作品上傳至Turnitin即可檢視文稿內容的原創性及相似比例,有效提昇師生學術文章的原創性、鼓勵學術合理引用。
The Turnitin Originality Checking Service provides plagiarism detection for academic papers. It contains:
Over 1.9 billion student papers submitted to Turnitin since 1996.
More than 47 billion publicly available web pages.
Over 10,000 mainstream newspapers, magazines, and academic journals.
Millions of full-text electronic publications, including e-journals, e-books, databases, and e-magazines (via CrossRef and all participating publishers).
By uploading a student’s work to Turnitin, users can review the originality and similarity of the text, effectively enhancing academic integrity and encouraging proper citation practices among faculty and students.
帳號使用方式:
因涉及帳號數量管控,統一設定層級由圖資館管理。
帳號優先提供給本校專任教師與研究生,有餘額再提供給其他人申請。
兼任教師及研究生採申請制,請另由Google表單(請勿使用IE瀏覽器)申請。
E-mail部份請填寫學校發給的帳號(例如:r**@niu.edu.tw),帳號僅限本人使用,切勿共用,以避免比對錯誤問題之產生。
To manage account allocation, account levels are centrally controlled by the Library Information Services.
Accounts are prioritized for full-time faculty and graduate students. Remaining accounts may be made available to others upon request.
Part-time faculty and graduate students must apply separately via the Google Form (please do not use Internet Explorer).
For the E-mail field, please use your university-issued account (e.g., r**@niu.edu.tw).** Accounts are for individual use only and must not be shared to prevent errors in originality checking.
教師權限部份:
專任教師的帳號統一由圖資館上傳系統後產生,E-mail一律以學校信箱為準,帳號建立後會由系統發送郵件,請依郵件內說明的方式於24小時內啟用及開通帳號。
教師權限:可設定課程與作業夾,區分「課程」或「個人」使用。
課程使用:請於新增一個課程與作業夾後,再單次或批次新增學生,新增的學生帳號必需使用學校的E-mail帳號,以提供學生上傳報告進行原創性比對,設定課程期限請以一學年為單位。
個人使用:教師也可於作業夾中自行上傳論文進行原創性比對。
Account Creation: Full-time faculty accounts are created centrally by the Library Information Services. The account email is always set to the university email. Once the account is created, the system will send an activation email. Please follow the instructions in the email to activate your account within 24 hours.
Faculty Permissions: Faculty can create courses and assignment folders, with options for “Course” or “Individual” use.
Course Use:
Create a new course and assignment folder.
Add students either individually or in bulk.
Student accounts must use their university email to submit assignments for originality checking.
Set the course duration for one academic year.
Individual Use:
Faculty may also upload papers directly into assignment folders for individual originality checking.
學生權限部份:
研究生:可個人申請進行論文原創性比對。
研究帳號使用期限設定為一學年,每學年開始需重新填寫Google表單申請才可繼續使用。
申請且通過審核後1-3天內Turnitin會傳送開啟連結至您的信箱,請依步驟進行登入,未收到信件者請留意是否被歸類至垃圾信箱。
Graduate Students: May individually apply to use Turnitin for originality checking of their papers.
Account Validity: Research accounts are valid for one academic year. A new application via the Google Form is required at the beginning of each academic year to continue using the service.
Activation: After approval, Turnitin will send an activation link to your email within 1–3 days. Please follow the instructions in the email to log in. If you do not receive the email, check your spam/junk folder.
注意事項:
單一文件大小必須小於100MB。
文稿頁數上限為800頁,純文字檔案需小於2MB。
壓縮檔案僅支援ZIP格式。
壓縮檔案可以包含最多1000份、文稿總和必須小於200MB。
支援DOC、DOCS、PDF、TXT、RTF、HTML、ODT等格式。
上傳文章比對時間第一次約需10-20分鐘,自第二次起文章比對時間需等待24小時,請挑選適當的作業夾提交論文。
The maximum file size for a single document is 100 MB.
The maximum number of pages is 800 pages, and plain text files must be under 2 MB.
Compressed files are only supported in ZIP format.
A ZIP file may contain up to 1,000 documents, with a total size under 200 MB.
Supported file formats include: DOC, DOCX, PDF, TXT, RTF, HTML, ODT.
The first originality check for a submitted paper typically takes 10–20 minutes. For subsequent submissions of the same paper, the system requires 24 hours before rechecking. Please select the appropriate assignment folder when submitting your document.
