Power Generation

 Construction started in November, 2016 to prepare for a turbine and draft tube. The 40KW unit was manufactured by Alpha Star Hydro and the work was done by dam specialist Ted Boyes Construction.Based on historical flow rates and mechanical efficiencies, the unit will produce 200,000 KW of power annually. The turbine was commissioned on May 18th, 2019.
