Where do great pianists become great? At the piano practicing with a good piano teacher....not listening to a lecture about playing the piano.
The flipped classroom definitively raised the scores of a majority of the class, and promoted a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Furthermore, it strengthened students’ confidence in their mathematical abilities by providing ample opportunities in the classroom for intervention and support.
Students noted that the flipped classroom provided more support. Students were able to research components of topics that were not fully explained in the videos.
