The East Hampton Library offers a large selection of books for both children and adults. There is a wide variety of books to choose from: picture books, fairytales, fantasy, sports, mystery, adventure and much more. The Children’s Librarians are happy to help children and their families select books that they might enjoy.
Signing up a child for their first library card is important. Children will take pride in being a member of the library and having something of their own. It will give them free access to everything the library has to offer.
One of the tools the East Hampton Library offers is NoveList K-8 Plus. This is an online database of reading recommendations which encourages reader success.
