Check out these great tips!
Check out these hand washing procedures.
In Grade 2 we learn that we have so many feelings that we experience each day. Happy, excited, silly, embarrassed, angry are completely normal and expected feelings to experience each day. But sometimes it can be tricky to handle these feelings.
Remember, it is okay to mad, but it is not okay to be mean!
We learn that sometimes we need to use our strategies move from upset back to calm.
Remember, a calm brain is a ready to learn brain!
These are some of the strategies we use to help ourselves calm and be ready to learn!
1. Ninja Breaths (3 long breaths)
2. Take 5 to be by yourself.
3. Sitting in a chair of choice to calm.
4. Trace your finger and breathe.
5. Push, pull, dangle (push on a chair, pull up on the chair, relax and dangle your arms.)
Try these at home!
