We will have previous officers Peter and Roy, president and vice-president respectfully, visit us to answer any questions regarding the CSE major at UW Seattle, as they are current CS students.

Homework Overload!

As the quarter comes to an end, we've all piled with homework and getting ready for finals so we are canceling today's meet.

Agenda: Brian is a Senior C++ Software Engineer as well as a computer science/mathematical researcher. His lecture is titled: "Thinking in Pure Functional Style, with Functional Reactive Programming." Even if you're not the best programmer I would highly recommend dropping by because this sort of opportunity isn't always available!

January 25th Meet - Interview Coding (For all levels)

  • Shortly finish up and summarize Git, showing you how to connect and upload to GitHub.
  • Get into groups and practice some interview questions from huge tech companies - (most are not that hard) (IN ANY LANGUAGE)

  • Go over the why you should attend CS Club, and what you should use it for.
  • We will briefly go over the stage you are in your CS profession.

Description of Club:

We are an active club engaging with programmers who want to enrich their CS skills and are excited about the future of Computer Science!

Club scope & objectives:

  • Get comfortable with group projects, we will have a couple ongoing so make sure to join those!
  • General meetings where we talk about relevant university CS requirements and participate in fun coding challenges!
  • CS Jeopardy towards the end of the quarter!
  • Pizza and soft drinks provided at special events!
  • Practice interview questions (saved for a later quarter)!
