Information for CMS & EPHS Summer Running
Both EPHS and CMS athletes are invited to participate in our summer running program. High School athletes (including incoming 9th graders) are eligible for the Summer Miles trip.
Here is the summer practice schedule
Summer practices begin in early June. There is no registration or fee for summer practices, just show up!
High School runners, see www.epxc.org for more information or the download below.
The first official practice of CC for grades 7-12 is the generally the 2nd Monday in August (whatever Monday is in the early teens).
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions--

Why should you join the Eden Prairie cross-country teams?
Opportunity to run with over 200 CMS and EPHS students
You will make friends with other CMS and EPHS students before school even starts
Our team does NOT cut any athletes…EVER!!
No experience or running ability needed
What if I can’t run very far or keep up with other kids?
Kids will run a variety of distances / speeds at practice—you won’t have to run farther/faster than you think you can handle! Our goal is to help make you a better runner—not expect you to be an Olympian on the first day. Many of our best runners today at EPHS were new to running in 6th grade.
What if I can’t get a ride to captains’ practice this summer or August practices?
Contact one of the EPHS captains (info. below) — we’ll make sure we find you a ride.
When do I need to register for CC? When is the first official day of CMS practice?
