Welcome to our village web site. We are two small adjacent villages within the same Parish, about five miles from King's Lynn in Eastern England.

Paws Lane - temporary closure/restriction - owing to burst water main the use by vehicles (of any class) of the Paws Lane from 750m south of its junction with A47 for 50m southwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of East Winch and West Bilney will be temporarily prohibited/restricted. to all vehicles (of any class) of the Paws Lane from 750m south of its

The closure is anticipated to take place from 18th to 24th February 2025.
The road may continue to be closed until the 10th March 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

Temporary closure of Wormgay road at Middleton. 25 - 26 February.
Wormgay Road from 230m south of its junction
with Mill Drove for 130m southwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Middleton to
facilitate Norfolk County Council drainage works, the Road will be temporarily closed
(except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is
necessary which is anticipated to be from 25th to 26th February 2025, but may
continue to be closed/restricted until the 9th April 2025 where the closure is still
required beyond the anticipated dates.
THE VILLAGE DEFIBRILLATOR
is positioned at the Village Hall - see bright yellow box on the wall facing the road.
It is inspected regularly to ensure that it is serviceable and is available at all times
The defibrillator is now registered on 'The Circuit' – the national defibrillator network. It’s also now connected to East of England Ambulance Service and more likely to be used in an emergency.

Bus Fares - from 1 January 2025. some bus fares are to be increased.
As you may know, the UK Government has announced a new £3 fare cap in England, which means some of our fares will be changing from 1st January 2025.
