Extra Recorder Tests
The recorder karate program allows students to progress at their own pace through the levels. Some students get so excited and motivated that they wish to get ahead. Others need extra help or to catch up. I offer three options to students who want or need to take an extra recorder test.
***These options are not available for the white and yellow belt tests. They will begin with the orange belt.***
Take a recorder test from home:

Helpful Information
Practicing:
It is recommended that students practice for at least 10 minutes, 4-5 days of the week. This should be considered a part of their homework. If students do not have a home practice recorder, they can practice by watching videos or listening to background tracks while playing "air recorder". This helps to practice the correct fingerings.
Lost or Damaged Recorder:
If a recorder is lost or damaged, there is no need to panic! There are extras in the music room that can be purchased for $5. Please send the student to the music room with a check made out to Memorial School. Otherwise, please purchase a new school recorder from a local music store.
Lost Music:
Students, please visit the music room for a new copy as soon as possible! There is a self-serve sheet music box in the the music room!
