In conjunction with Ident-A-Kid/Centegix Enhanced Visitor Management, an identification card has been created for all East Haven Academy students. This card contains your child’s school picture, as well as a barcode that will be used to scan whenever being dropped off late or picked up early from school. Additionally, students should be prompted and encouraged to keep their identification card with them whenever attending school-related events (examples include, but are not limited to, after-school sporting events, middle school dances, etc). Your child’s ID card can also be used to scan in for lunch. The creation and distribution of these cards is an added piece to ensure maximum security measures are in place at all times.
Please look for your child’s identification card being sent home with your student today. Elementary students should use the enclosed clip to secure this card on or in their backpacks. Students in Grades 5-8 are receiving a lanyard. Please note that ID cards do not need to be worn throughout the day, however they should be kept in students’ possession in (or on) their backpacks.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Aviation Explorers
Please take some time to watch this wonderful documentary about our Aviation Explorers Club and their adventures last school year. We are so proud of our students and faculty members who were involved in this one-of-a-kind program.
