Call for papers

We are kindly inviting you to participate at the 2nd Symposium on Saint Gerard of Cenad, to be held in Timișoara (Romania) between 13-14 November 2014.

The first edition of the symposium was organized in May 2013 and encouraged academics to study the little-known work of Gerard of Cenad, Deliberatio supra hymnum trium puerorum ad Isingrimum Liberalem. 

The second edition intends to broaden the study on the work of Saint Gerard and enlarge the scope of the symposium to subjects related to Saint Gerard within universal and local history, theology, philosophy and intellectual history, history of science, philology, classical studies, cultural archaeology, cultural geography, cultural studies, paleography, hagiography, or arts.

This second edition’s contributions will be peer reviewed and published with Trivent Publishing, Budapest publishing house.

The main language of the papers will be English; German and French will also be accepted. 

Each registered participant will receive a Certificate of Participation.
