STEAM School

What is STEAM?

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The idea of a STEAM school is to use the problem solving process of engineering:

1. Ask a question

2. Imagine - What are our possible solutions?

3. Plan - Draw a diagram and make a materials list.

4. Creat - Make a prototype and test it out.

5. Improve - What worked? What did not work? How could you improve it?

This type of focus helps our students to become prepared for their future as they become better problem solvers, use and identify technology, become better collaborators, creators and develop scholarly conversations.
