The students learned about using map resources like a compass rose and key to be able move and locate areas on a map. Students had to use their map skills to work on this digital neighborhood map project within Google Slides. Students learned how to move/rotate images to go on the map, insert images base on the direction within the questions. Again, the students had to use map resources such as the compass rose to put the images in the correct location. Students then had to write 1-2 complete sentences that described things on the map.
Math with Writing Interdisciplinary/Technology Project
The goal is to have students working on math and writing skills while using the computer. The students worked on reviewing their base ten/3D shapes math skills at the same time in working on their computer skills.
