The students learned the difference in using Google to search for a website verse using a database. The students used a database to do research on the Wampanoag Native Americans. They had to fill out a research organizer. They created a Google slide to showcase their findings.
This is a project that had the students choose an animal from a list then on back of the animal gave them what Biome their animal choose lived in. Students were put into small groups based on their animal biome. They had to use a few website sources to research and locate key information on their biome and animal. During this process, students had the ability to collaborate and work on this skill. After all the research was completed, they had to do part 2 of this project. They were assigned to a Google slide document for their biome. They collaborated together within the same file to present all of the biome and animals information the group gathered. They had to learn how to effectively work together in the same file at the same time and collaborate in completing this part of the project.
