Why Learn about US Government? I start each section of government asking this question. My goal is to make every student become a more informed citizen and a better member of our World Community. Learning about how government works, where to get reliable information is all a part of learning about government.
What will we study? This course is designed to be a survey 9 week course where we will learn about different forms of leadership, government and their interaction with economic systems. We will learn about the specifics of the US Government by examining the history of government, Federalism, and the 3 branches - Legislative, Executive and Judicial.

We DO NOT have a textbook for Government, so you may want to get a good binder to help you organize by Unit of Study!
