Meindert Bosch, former CEO of Bethesda and friend to Denver Academy, passed away on September 8, 2020, just 6 days after celebrating his 100th birthday. In the past two decades since Denver Academy purchased the land and buildings that were Bethesda, Meindert has been an exceptional friend and supporter. He met often with Denver Academy students, faculty, and staff, and was happy to share his knowledge and stories. The information he shared was instrumental in creating opportunities for the Denver Academy community to learn about the rich history of our property, and in the past decade, as we worked with the State Historical Fund and History Colorado to restore our historic Chapel library, Meindert's support and the information he shared was a vital part of our grant applications.
Most of the information shared on this website began with information that Meindert shared with our librarian. He was a wealth of information and was so supportive of Denver Academy, our mission, and our efforts to teach and support students.
These videos occur on other pages on this site, but we've collected them here so you can enjoy Meindert's stories and learn from him as well.
