Requirements:

• • Graduating senior from an Iowa high school

  • Resident of Iowa planning to pursue post-secondary education

  • Demonstrate leadership in efforts to increase education and understanding of LGBTQ issues and reduce homophobia in your school and/or community.

  • Awards are made without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, marital status, or employment status.  (The applicant does not need to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender, but does have to share how they have made a difference to improve the quality of life of LGBTQ people.)

  • Essays & short answer questions

  • List of activities and community involvement

  • List of work experience

  • Transcript

  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
