❥ IB Grading Information

  • Any of the 4 criterions will be assessed in multiple ways, as formative or as summative tests.


Criterions: To determine achievement from any amount of tasks.

A Communicating through Listening (listening)

B Interpreting Visual text (Reading)

C Comprehending written text (Speaking)

D Communicating in written form (Writing mostly)

Formative assessments (ex. Quizzes, Pop Quizzes or Short tests)


We'll be graded base on the total points of the formative test.

Example:

If the Quiz is a total of 20 points

20= A , 17= B, 15= C, 13= D, 11> less=F

Grading scale on Summative assessments and Projects: will be based on the following IB grading scale.

7-8-----Excellent (

6-5-----Substantial(

4-3-----Adequate (

2-1-----Limited(

0-----Does not meet the standard (didn't take the test or was not turned in)
