I am Elizabeth Oquendo Sepúlveda, a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico. I am proud to say that I was born and raised there. Languages, cultures and arts are my passions.

I moved to Colorado as a senior in High School, and graduated from Chaparral High School. Followed my heart and studied World Languages/Foreign Languages and Education at MSU. I can also say I married my high school sweet heart and have two entertaining and unique children. In addition, I have 4 pets, 2 crazy cats and 2 protective dogs.

I've traveled with students to Paris and Barcelona, and have visited different parts of Colombia. I've also had the opportunity to visit Dominican Republic and would definitely go back.

Things I love: my children, pets and family, teaching, positive changes, music, dancing, languages, culture, traditions, traveling, food!, comedy, to sing, read, warm weather, the values and love I was taught by my family.

Fun facts: I used to be a dance instructor, part of a dance company, used to model, I sing (was my first major) and took private lessons, worked as a cake decorator and a baker.

¡Gracias!

¡Espero conocerlos pronto!

One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.
