2026 Summer Calendar:

Please see some Summer reminders below:

- We operate from 7:00am-5:30pm during the summer at Northridge Elementary. Late pickups incur a fee of $3 per minute per child.

- Incoming kindergarteners will NOT be permitted to attend swim field trips, please keep this in mind when scheduling your days.

- Field trip shirts are required for all field trips, please follow the link above to order them as soon as possible in preparation for the Summer. I recommend buying multiple just to be safe. The t-shirt company is very slow so the sooner you can order the better. I am working on finding another supplier but I cannot guarantee that I will be able to get it set up in time for the beginning of Summer. If your shirt does not arrive in time for our first field trip please send your child(ren) in a royal blue t-shirt until it does!

- Field trip days on the calendar are color coded blue as well as marked with a blue shirt icon.

- You will find that field trip days have a time listed on them, this is our departure and return time. You must arrive by the departure time listed on each field trip day in order to make it in time for our field trip. We will not contact you if you have not arrived by the indicated time, we will leave without you and you will not be credited for missing the day.

- Credits will only be provided in cases of illness or emergency, most regular schedule changes will not result in a credit so please keep that in mind when scheduling your days.

- Lunch is only provided on certain days as marked on the calendar, days where lunch is not provided you must pack a lunch, those days are marked with a little sack lunch icon on the calendar.

- If your child has food allergies or dietary restrictions I cannot guarantee that the lunches we cater will fall within those restrictions, please pack a lunch for your child in this case.

- Please be advised that we are a first come, first serve and pre-pay program. We cannot guarantee a 100% availability each week, however we do use a waitlist in case of cancellations. Please email crockett1@dcsdk12.org or shayes1@dcsdk12.org to be waitlisted for a session. If a spot becomes available we will contact you (sometimes we don't know till the day of the opening).

- Per district requirements, EVERY field trip will need a DCSD waiver filled out! Some trips may also require that you fill out an additional waiver for the venue/facility we are visiting. We will take a district school bus or a charter bus for off-site trips. Some on-site activities will also require a waiver. There will be no on-site provisions, all children in attendance will be expected to come on the field trip.
