Meet the Staff

Program Manager

Gabriell Hinojoza Velazquez

A little about me..

I am from Arizona but grew up in Colorado. I was first in Aurora then moved to Castle Rock when I was in middle school. I started working at fourteen while attending high school. I have one daughter (6th grade) , my niece (7th grade) and nephew (9th grade) which are all three in Douglas County Schools. In my free time my husband and I enjoy taking the kids to the movies, escape rooms, amusement parks and haunted houses. When I'm not doing things with family you will see at a Starbucks or scrolling on Pintrist  looking at cool and fun activities to do with kids at BASE. All your kids are amazing and mean alot me. I look forward to continuing working with them and helping them grow!

I also have two amazing Grandsons, ages 9 and 20 months.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, trips to the mountains, home decorating and hiking. I look forward to getting to know you and your children!

Solana Williams

Hi, my name is Solana, and I love working with kids! I’ve grown up and lived in Colorado my whole life. I’ve been working at Meadow View BASE for about 2 years now, mostly over summers and breaks, and I’ve been working in Douglas County Schools for about 6 years. Currently, I am a senior at the University of Redlands in California, and I am earning my degree in English Literature. I plan to come back to Colorado after school and study education to become an elementary school teacher. I enjoy traveling the world, listening to old music, having dance parties, reading books, and definitely being outside. I think children have a wonderful perspective on the world and I think we can learn more from them than we know! …I also think they’re so much fun to be around with all that energy!!
