About Me

I was born in California, grew up in Arizona, and moved to Colorado about 12 years ago. I love getting to experience all four seasons here! I have a college freshman of my own at home, along with two Bengal cats named Maui and Pele. My son, Zachariah, is starting at MSU Denver this year.  Mr. Brown and I just got married over the summer in Montana. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I have 10 years of early childhood experience and I student taught 3rd grade in Douglas County. This is my tenth year teaching 4th grade at CME and I am thoroughly enjoying being a part of the Copper Mesa community.
