Crew: 

During our daily crew meetings we will be learning all about what these words mean and participating in activities to gain a deeper understanding. Throughout the day we will continue to reference these habits of character to ensure students are using them throughout the school day. 

• CRAFTSMANSHIP: Students will work toward doing their best and using multiple drafts. We will practice giving and receiving feedback to make our work better. 

• COLLABORATION: Students will work together as a team to accomplish various tasks. Students will work toward having everyone in their group participate and compromising with others ideas. 

• INTEGRITY: Students will learn the importance of telling the truth and being trustworthy. 

• IMPACT: Students will explore how they can have a positive affect on our school community and the world. 

• COMPASSION: Students will show kindness and empathy toward others. 

• GRIT: Students will persevere when a task gets difficult and gain an understanding that making mistakes is an integral part of learning. 

Math Program:

enVision Math - A comprehensive math curriculum providing focus, coherence, and rigor of the Common Core State Standards. Project-based learning, visual learning strategies, and extensive customization options empower every teacher and student. Students learn to see relationships, ask questions, and try different approaches to problem-solving. Problem-based learning drives students to engage in productive struggle. Literacy Program:

Wonders is grounded in the Science of Reading and is clear about what matters in early literacy instruction: phonological awareness, phonics and word recognition, fluency, vocabulary and oral language comprehension, and text comprehension.

Social Studies/Science Programs:

Generation Genius  - a teaching resource that brings school science standards to life through fun and educational videos paired with lesson plans, activities, quizzes, reading material and more.
