Students are not required to already have a guitar for this class. Students will be issued a school owed guitar during the class. If they do not have an adequate instrument at home they may take home the school instrument to practice on. We will be working out of the Belwin's 21st Century Guitar Method Book 1 by Aaron Stang. Student's will be given the book in class and a fee of $5 will be added to their student account that may be paid after class begins.

Classical acoustic guitars will be checked out for use in the classroom. If a student does not have an instrument available to them at home they will be allowed to take them back and forth after parents sign a loaner agreement.
We will be working out of the Belwin Guitar Method 1 by Aaron Stang. Method books will be given to students during the first week of the semester and their IC account will be charged $5 for the book. We will also be using online resources to play along with popular songs.
