GIFTED KIDS DON'T COME WITH A MANUAL
Gifted kids can be curious, intense, creative, sensitive, independent, persistent, and wonderfully complex. They may amaze you with what they understand one minute and leave you wondering what just happened the next. Giftedness can influence much more than academics, and parenting a gifted child often comes with questions that don't have simple answers.
You don't have to figure all of it out on your own. The resources below offer information and support on topics such as gifted characteristics, social-emotional needs, twice-exceptionality, perfectionism, motivation, advocacy, and supporting gifted children at home and at school.
Use the links below to explore the topics that are most relevant to you and your child. (Have a resource to add to our list? Please complete this form.)
