Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am very excited to be teaching 1st Grade again this year. This will be my 14th year at Flagstone, and my seventh year as a classroom teacher. I could not be any more excited to have the opportunity to be a part of such an exciting year in elementary school: First Grade! I look forward to building a relationship with not only the students in my classroom but also my students' families. This year will be filled with a lot of exploration, student-driven, and social learning that will encourage every student to reach their highest potential. I look forward to being a part of this journey with you and your child!
My family and I moved to Castle Rock in 2007 from Farmington, New Mexico. We love Colorado and everything the area has to offer!
My husband and I have been married for 24 years, and we have two children: Kyle (22) and Tyler (19). We also have two dogs, Aspen and Timber. Our children attended Flagstone Elementary School from preschool through 6th grade and graduated from Douglas County High School. We live in the Flagstone neighborhood and enjoy seeing the familiar faces of children and families from the neighborhood schools.
I graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. In 2025, I obtained a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
In my free time, I enjoy hunting, camping, visiting National Parks, wildlife photography, crafting, and reading.
