Text -to-Speech Accommodation on College Board exams only:
Text to Speech Accommodations for Digital PSAT/SAT with Bluebook Chromebook App
DCSD Managed Chromebooks:
If you have students that require a text to speech accommodation for the digital PSAT/SAT using the Bluebook Chromebook app, please work with your building CST and have them submit a Help Desk ticket using category Remote Deployment of Apps, Packages and Policies > Chrome OS > Configuration Setting Request. In the ticket, please include Chromebook serial numbers that will be used for testing that require the text to speech accommodation.
Charter Schools:
If you have students that require a text to speech accommodation for the digital PSAT/SAT using the Bluebook Chromebook app, please work with your building CST and have them follow these directions for their Chromebooks: https://bluebook.collegeboard.org/help-center/how-do-i-enable-accessibility-features-chromebooks
Because we do not manage their Chromebooks, DCSD IT cannot assist them with this setting.
Pearson Access Next:
Knowing that each school's infrastructure varies, the resources and embedded links are intended as a starting point as schools prepare for CMAS testing with Pearson Access Next. Charter schools may need to call Pearson directly to inquire about their specific set up for testing.
